Solar battery storage is coming,

and it’s going to be huge.

Move one step closer to complete energy independence.

Over the last 10 years, solar panel systems have changed how we produce and consume electricity, allowing homes and businesses that had previously relied completely on the electricity grid the ability to produce their own clean, free electricity.

Current ‘Grid Connect’ solar systems allow power to be bought and sold from the grid as needed, however the grid is still necessary for the solar system to work.

In 2016, we will soon be seeing the birth of the complete solution – solar battery storage systems that will allow solar systems to capture and store their excess energy, to be used during the night, during periods of low solar production, and even during blackout periods.

Very soon you will have the ability to connect a solar battery system to your existing solar energy system, and global brands such as, LG, Panasonic, Fronius and Samsung are all currently developing battery systems of their own – with many to be released in 2016.

These battery systems will have a varying range of storage capacity, with the current systems being developed having the ability to store between 3 kWh and 12 kWh of electricity, depending on your energy requirements and your budget.

At Greenlife Solar we are carefully monitoring and researching new developments, and will soon be quoting solar battery systems for both new and existing solar systems. If you would like to be kept up to date with the newest developments, simply join our solar battery email list below.
